    Job Focus

    Focus is on, but not limited to the following:

    • Must love and support their TEAM!
    • Must love and take care of guests!

    • Communicate with management to ensure dish, glassware, and silverware are stocked accordingly
    • Responsible for blood borne pathogen clean up according to biohazard protocol
    • Leads Kitchen Workers and Utility Porters in their assigning duties
    • Washes, cleans and polishes equipment as well as sorts and cleans dishes, silverware, glassware, utensils and ashtrays
    • Cleans pot and pans, sweeps floors and removes kitchen trash
    • Cleans trash cans, floor mats, walls, dishes, glassware and silverware, dollies, carts, shelving, counter tops, reach-in refrigerators, walk-in coolers and freezers, and the dock area
    • Covers all breaks in all different station.
    • Works to ensure cleanliness and detail of the kitchen facilities
    • Responsible for ensuring breaks are provided to all employees
    • Performs duties as a Kitchen Worker, Stove Cleaner and Utility Porter as needed
    • Uses correct cleaning chemicals for designated items, according to OSHA regulations and hotel requirements
    • Checks the working condition of equipment and machinery in accordance with specifications
    • Stores cleaned equipment in designated areas
    • Handles all glassware carefully to prevent breakage and loss
    • Maintains cleanliness and working condition of garbage disposal and grease traps
    • Maintains cleanliness and organization of work areas throughout shift
    • Stocks kitchen lines, restaurant service areas and buffet line with designated cleaned glasswares, utensils and equipment
    • Uses designated chemicals, supplies and equipment to clean various floor surfaces (brooms, mops, stripper, buffer, etc.)
    • Transports mats to the loading dock and ensures they are clean
    • Transports garbage containers from kitchen and work areas to dumpster
    • Reports any damages, maintenance problems or safety hazards to the supervisor
    • Performs other duties requested

    Desired Qualifications

    • Has a minimum of one (1) year kitchen operations experience
    • Must be at least 18 years of age or older
    • Has working knowledge of sanitation regulations and procedures
    • Must be able to read, write and speak English
    • Able to stand for an extended period of time
