  • Job Description

    This position is responsible for assisting management and guests with all uniform related needs.  Primary functions include customer service, assisting guests with the retrieval of uniforms, receiving and inventory control, and processing of new hires

    Job Focus

    Focus is on, but not limited to the following:

    • Provide excellent service consistent with the property’s core service and brand standards
    • Proactively greet, interact, and assist guests in a professional manner to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious work environment
    • Assist guests with uniform needs including the retrieval of garments and garment bag
    • Process new hires, separations, loaners and replacement uniforms
    • Label uniforms with ID tags
    • Assist in receiving and quality control procedures of new inventory
    • Process and stock uniform inventory
    • Check-out soiled garments for shipment to cleaning vendors
    • Check-in and hang clean garments for employee distribution
    • Respond and resolve complaints in a timely manner
    • Execute approved special requests from management and other departments.
    • Answer multi-line phones and perform filing as needed
    • Keep work areas clean and organized, ensuring that all items are displayed properly and in in an orderly fashion
    • Assist with the pressing of guests’ garments
    • Operate conveyor system
    • Operate heat-seal machine
    • Operate computer equipment including scanners and label printers
    • Notify management of any problems that may impact or jeopardize the achievement of current and future departmental objectives
    • Be knowledgeable of department and property goals
    • Other related duties as necessary

    Desired Qualifications

    • High School Diploma or equivalent is required
    • At least six (6) months of customer service experience
    • Must have the ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal forms
    • A professional demeanor and attire is to be maintained at all times
    • Must have strong interpersonal and organizational skills
    • Ability to working independently with little to no supervision
    • Must be able to perform in a team environment
    • Must have exceptional time management skills
    • Must have a motivated and energetic personality
    • An intermediate to proficient understanding of Computer systems such as: Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook is preferred
    • Proven ability to resolve guest conflicts with ease or determine if management is needed in certain guest situations
    • Must be 18 years of age or older
