    The Gaming Associate Technician is responsible for the installation, testing, repair and maintenance of all electronic gaming devices

    Job Focus

    Focus is on, but not limited to the following:


    • Maintains all electronic gaming devices operating conditions and is responsible for the effective implementation of the gaming devices preventative maintenance program
    • Maintains clear and open communication with leadership and colleagues
    • Tests gaming device equipment using digital multi-meter, oscilloscope, monitor test equipment, capacitor and inductor analyzer
    • Troubleshoots and repairs equipment using manufacturer testers and manuals, wiring diagrams and the internet
    • Performs shop and floor repairs as need
    • Maintains a clean organized and safe work environment on the floor, shop and storage area
    • Notifies management of any suspicious or unusual activity or transactions in a timely and responsible manner
    • Learn to troubleshoot, and repair of component level electronic circuitry in gaming devices
    • Rebuilds all mechanical and electronic gaming device components if a repair is not a viable solution
    • Assists with daily projects and maintenance on the slot floor when necessary
    • Completes gaming device moves as required by business demand
    • Ensure maximum performance and reduce electronic gaming device downtime through quality preventative maintenance and repairs
    • Assist Slot Operation Administrative staff with Jackpot verifications, customer disputes, and other problems and malfunctions that may occur
    • Follow all policies, procedures and gaming regulations defined by management and Nevada Gaming Control Board
    • Promote a work environment that is pleasant and desirable for all
    • Perform all other duties as assigned by Management

    Desired Qualifications

    • High School diploma or GED as well as one to three (1-3) years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and/or work experience is required
    • Knowledge of electronic board repair experience is required
    • Knowledge of casino gaming devices
    • Ability to diagnose and repair casino gaming devices
    • Must have excellent communication and time management skills  
    • Must be able to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
    • Technically proficient in the assembly and operation of all casino gaming devices, with an understanding of hardware to meet software requirements
    • Previous experience with casino operating systems such as: ACSC, Bally's, Patron Management or IGT is requested
    • A valid Nevada Gaming License will be required for this position 
    • Must Be 21 Years of age or older
