    SLS is currently seeking an experienced Office Assistant who is a self-starter, career oriented, reliable and pro-active. This position will support the design/Construction team as overseen by the Owners Representative, and will be responsible for organizing/ archiving all documentation as it relates to on-going general office duties including working with design/construction staff in a busy office environment. ideal candidate must have a sincere interest in the Hospitality Industry. Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task at high levels are a must.

    Job Focus

    Focus is on, but not limited to the following:


    • Managing the daily needs of the Owners representative, and Project Manager plus superintendents
    • Answering incoming phone calls and assisting in overall communications.
    • Assisting with and coordinating daily construction related operations
    • Interacting and coordinating with other departments at SLS.
    • Dealing with Vendors and assisting with determining validity of bid documents and submittals.
    • Undertaking computer spreadsheet related duties
    • Proofing and formatting documents, with emphasis in Excel and Word
    • Filing, faxing, copying, printing images and plans
    • Any other duties deemed to be a part of organizing and running a jobsite office

    Desired Qualifications

    The successful candidate must be professional, courteous, and friendly. They must work well under pressure in being able to multi-task their assigned duties.

    The right candidate will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills; exhibit good judgment and exceptional organizational skills. He / She must be able to work in a fast-paced office environment, be solutions oriented and have proven people skills and exhibiting patience and flexibility under pressure.


    • At least 3 + years of experience in management of construction office processes and procedures.
    • Prior knowledge and experience in the Hospitality or Entertainment Industries preferred
    • Prior knowledge of partnerships, branding, and/or sales and marketing preferred
    • Confidentiality and discretion with sensitive information
    • Highly organized with excellent follow up skills and extreme attention to detail
    • Understanding of a "sense of urgency" attitude for the completion of responsibilities/tasks
    • Ability to work in a deadline driven, fast-paced, high pressure environment
    • Multi-tasking and prioritizing capabilities
    • Dedicated and willing to go above and beyond
    • Exceptional communication skills and articulation
    • Strong email and internet skills
    • Strong PC skills including MS Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
    • Strong verbal and writing skills
    • Must be 21 years of age or older.
