  • Job Description

     

    Installs, operates, maintains, and repairs technical investigative/surveillance equipment (i.e. video camera, video & voice transmitting devices, etc. Installs, maintains covert video systems, CCTV equipment, etc. Knowledgeable of the principle applications of technical equipment, etc. Perform and/or facilitate emergency equipment repairs anywhere technical investigative equipment is utilized

    Job Focus

    Focus is on, but not limited to the following:

    • Responsible for performing a wide variety of diagnoses and repairs of surveillance equipment, with infrequent assistance
    • Responsible for maintaining surveillance systems, installations, adjustments, repairs, and routine maintenance
    • Able to climb ladders, carry equipment up to 50lbs, sit, stand, walk for an extended period of time. Experience in cctv equipment, installation, maintenance, and diagnostic/repair of cctv
    • The use, care and selection of appropriate hand tools
    • The use of computers and various types of software
    • Reading and comprehending technical manuals, manufacturer specifications, and troubleshooting guides used in the installation and repair of technical investigative equipment
    • Ensure that the Surveillance department is in compliance with the Nevada Gaming Regulations pertaining to Surveillance Standards for nonrestricted licensees, Category "A"

    Desired Qualifications

    • Good understanding of the Surveillance Camera system
    • Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
    • Must be able to successfully pass certification and other tests deemed necessary by management
    • Ability to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms is required
    • Maintains confidentiality on all knowledge and matters observed
    • Performs other job related duties as assigned by the Lead Tech
    • A valid Nevada Gaming License is required and must be obtained before entering this position
    • Must be 21 years of age or older
