  • Job Description

    The Project Manager will be responsible for directing and overseeing the operations and activities of assigned projects.  The overall goal of the Project Manager is to ensure a safe and quality project is completed on schedule and within budget, while enhancing client relationships and the company's image.

    Job Focus

    • Creating estimates
    • Managing job budgets
    • Developing project schedules, negotiating with subcontractors and purchase orders
    • Daily oversight of construction, and monitor the construction schedule to ensure jobs are completed within deadlines.

    • Establish and maintain control for all project administration thru the use of the SLS management system
    • Assume responsibility and appropriately administer sound management practices for your project success
    • Responsible for the overall pre-construction, construction and closeout phases of the construction project
    • Collaborate with on-site construction superintendents, project engineers, construction coordinators, architects, subcontractors, owners and owner's representatives.
    • Prepare and execute subcontractor contracts. Lead the SLS project specific change management procedures.

    Desired Qualifications

    Construction Blueprint Reading required. Hospitality Project Management experience preferred. Commercial construction experience preferred. Construction management or equivalent work experience. Previous casino/hotel industry experience preferred. Excellent project management skills. Strong business acumen with an ability to communicate effectively with all departments within an organization.

    Must excel at strategic thinking, project planning, project management and coaching.



    HS Diploma/GED required; Associates Degree preferred Minimum 3-5 year experience in project management.



    Excellent communication skills both written and oral. Must possess interpersonal skills to deal effectively with business contacts and employees at all levels of the company. Must possess a strong attention to detail and presentation skills. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, staff, customers, and general public.


    Results oriented, hands-on professional with the ability to deal effectively and interact well with the customers and employees. Must have the ability to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.



    Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, percent, and to create and interpret bar graphs.



    Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions through decisive judgment. Ability to interpret and follow through on a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.


    Other Qualifications

    Must be a minimum of 21 years of age. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Products: Project, Word, Excel, Power Point, Publisher and Outlook. Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, and weekend hours as business needs dictate.
