  • Job Description

    Responsible for managing the day-to-day Spa and Salon Operations and employees ensuring that SLS Las Vegas Company Standards are being met and exceeded.

    Job Focus

    Focus is on, but not limited to the following:

    • Oversees the training, coaching and upholding the highest service standards with all team members
    • Facilitates regular departmental meetings and communicates new information
    • Upkeeps accurate inventory and ensures that adequate levels of retail products, treatment supplies, locker room amenities and office supplies are available; writing purchase orders when necessary
    • Ensures uncompromising levels of guest service and revenue generation by scheduling team members accordingly
    • Provides feedback and assists in the creation of Team Member Evaluations (90 Day and Annual)
    • Maintains immaculate cleanliness in work area, including locker rooms, fitness center and reception area and treatment rooms; delegating tasks when necessary
    • Takes ownership of situations or tasks by fully understanding the issue, asks for help when needed, communicates progress, and delivers results effectively and efficiently
    • Provides leadership and direction to all Team Members
    • Analyzes and resolves problems, with both internal and external guests, exercising good judgment
    • Reports and follows-up on maintenance requests
    • Maintains complete knowledge and complies with hotel and departmental policies and procedures
    • Ensure positive, engaging comportment of staff at all times
    • Work cohesively with other departments and coworkers as part of a team
    • Maintains monthly reports
    • Attend all required meetings and training sessions
    • Well versed in industry trends and able to evolve operation to stay at the forefront of the industry

    Desired Qualifications

    • Two (2) years previous management experience in hotel is required
    • High school diploma or equivalent; higher education is a plus
    • Must be able to read, write and speak English
    • Previous experience using Opera and Spa Soft is preferred
    • The ability to speak additional languages is a plus
    • A valid Alcohol Awareness Card & Food Handler’s License is required and must be obtained before entering this position
    • Must be 21 years of age or older
