  • Job Description

    Ensure complete guest satisfaction and provide all guests with a successful experience during their stay, thru check-in and checkout, and by providing information and services in order to both meet and exceed guest needs and expectations. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and property policies, practices and procedures

    Job Focus

    Focus is on, but not limited to the following:


    • Provide a VIP Guest Service experience to all guests by checking guests in/out of the hotel in a confident, professional and friendly manner as well as ensure that guest folios are managed efficiently and accurately.
    • Assist various departments including Nightlife, Brand Marketing, Groups, Sales, Executive offices, and Casino Marketing in:
      • Pre-arrival introduction and reach out for guest ETAs and concierge services
      • Revising reservations and guest folios
      • Facilitating room/property tours
      • Setting up amenities and creating personalized greeting cards tailored to guests preferences
      • Setting up transportation requests
      • Executing miscellaneous special requests as directed from department managers and above
    • Review guest special room requests/needs and pre-block rooms accordingly. Consistently communicate and coordinate with housekeeping to ensure VIP arrivals are prepped prior to guest’s estimated arrival time.
    • Coordinate with In-Room Dining to ensure amenities are properly executed and delivered based on guest arrival times
    • Assist guests in providing recommendations and booking reservations for:
      • Dining
      • Day club/nightlife
      • Theatrical productions and shows
      • Car rentals and transportation services
      • Spa/salon services
      • Sporting/athletic/outdoor activities
      • Local events/attractions
      • Various other accommodations for special events and requests.
    • Promote the company's outlets and amenities by recommending in-house facilities and maintaining complete knowledge of:
      • Hotel offerings, services, hours of operation, and holiday schedules
      • Hotel day/nightlife concepts, restaurant food concepts, menu, dress code and ambiance
      • Hotel room types/names, layout, amenities and locations
      • Hotel room rates, special packages and promotions
      • Scheduled daily group activities, names and location of meeting/banquet rooms
    • Maintain overall cleanliness and appearance of VIP Concierge Lounge
    • Complete all checklist items for the appropriate shift
    • Performs various administrative tasks assigned by VIP Manager & Executives

    Desired Qualifications

    • Two (2) to Three (3) or more years of experience in a similar role preferred
    • VIP, Front Desk, Hotel experience desired
    • Previous experience in a high-end luxury Gaming or Hospitality environment is desired
    • High School Diploma or equivalent is required
    • Must have the ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal forms
    • A professional demeanor and attire is to be maintained at all times
    • Must have strong interpersonal and organizational skills
    • Must have an outgoing personality and possess strong attention to detail skills
    • Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
    • Must be able to perform and strive in a team environment
    • Possess the ability to motivate and maintain effective working relationships across all levels of staff and leadership
    • An intermediate to proficient understanding of Computer systems such as: Opera, GoConcierge, HotSOS, StarGuest, Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook is preferred
    • Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
    • Multi-lingual is desired
    • A valid Nevada Gaming License is required and must be obtained before entering this position
    • Must be 21 years of age or older
