    The Telemarketing Specialist is predominantly responsible for making calls to guests of the casino and or hotel as directed by the Director of Casino Marketing and Administration. This position will work from lists provided to them and will have minimum daily call goals. The Telemarketing Specialist will be making calls to include but not limited to New Members, Inactive Members, Incliner/Decliner and Invited Guests for Special Events. Each call will have a specific goal but when talking with guests the Telemarketing Specialist will also verify that all account information is both correct and current. The Telemarketing Coordinator displays a strong understanding of all SLS Las Vegas Casino Marketing efforts and assists in promoting these initiatives.

    Job Focus

    Focus is on, but not limited to the following:

    • Actively participates in telephone solicitation to drive business to the property and/or support Special Events
    • Communicates with customers to ensure that all of their contact information is correct and current
    • Shows a complete understanding of all Casino Marketing programs and initiatives
    • Demonstrates a complete knowledge of the players club and all its benefits
    • Fully knowledgeable of all happenings on property
    • Demonstrates a knowledge and comfort with the Bally Casino System
    • Attends meetings as needed
    • Maintains a call log of successful contacts and their outcomes
    • Generates a minimum of 70 calls per day. Converts a minimum of 3% of all customers to a future reservation
    • Establishes and maintains an effective working relationship with management, guests, and various departments on property
    • Meets and exceeds performance goals
    • Manages and organizes daily to do’s providing a timeline and point of action for each goal
    • Perform job specific projects as assigned

    Desired Qualifications

    • Two to Three (2-3) years of guest service experience or similar field
    • Associate Degree in related field and/or pursuing a Bachelor Degree is desired or the equivalent working experience
    • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple work assignments while meeting deadlines
    • Must have the ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal forms. Bi-lingual is a bonus
    • A professional demeanor and attire is to be maintained at all times
    • Must have strong interpersonal and organizational skills
    • Ability to working independently with little to no supervision
    • Must be able to perform in a team environment
    • Possess the ability to motivate and maintain effective working relationships across all levels of staff and leadership
    • Previous experience in a high-end luxury Gaming or Hospitality environment is desired
    • Must have exceptional time management skills
    • An intermediate to proficient understanding of Computer systems such as: Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook is preferred
    • Proven ability to resolve guest conflicts with ease or determine if management is needed in certain guest situations
    • A valid Nevada Gaming License is required and must be obtained before entering this position.
