  • Job Description

    The incumbent in this position will communicate the hotel brand, messaging and voice for the resort via multiple social platforms. He/she is responsible to stay current on cutting edge technologies, emerging technologies, industry standards and best practices as it relates to social media. This role will be required to collaborate closely with local and corporate colleagues, as well as multiple team members in Las Vegas.

    Job Focus

    Focus is on, but not limited to the following:

    • Engage online audiences, both proactively and in response to fans, ultimately empowering and encouraging our fan base to talk about the brand
    • Maintain a social media calendar which is created in collaboration with Public Relations and Marketing department and looks for cross-vertical opportunities
    • Collaborate with all hotel venues and the marketing team to plan/strategize integrated platform(s) to drive business and develop synergies across other verticals
    • Build and maintain a working relationship with bloggers and other social media influencers
    • Develop effective measurement tools and strategies that measure the overall impact of campaigns and social media growth
    • Understand current trends, technologies and advancements in the mobile and social media space
    • Attend events to provide insight and photos to the social audience
    • Work with the creative team to obtain visual assets needed for social landscape
    • Responsible for implementing and maintaining paid social media advertising across all platforms
    • Work closely with the digital marketing team to establish and manage social media reporting

    Desired Qualifications

    • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of employees as well as outside contacts
    • Design, proof and edit materials and publications for which responsible
    • Review and comprehend all necessary documentation
    • Perform and/or learn aspects of marketing that may, or may not, be included in this job description
    • Have understanding of reporting and tracking technologies used to include in reporting
    • Ability to work with third parties to strategize and direct paid marketing efforts
    • Must have highly developed interpersonal skills, with an affinity for teamwork with in a small organization
    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Public Relations or related field
    • Three to four (3-4) years professional work experience (online/interactive marketing)
    • Experience in managing brand pages on various social media platforms
    • General knowledge of online marketing and technologies
    • Service oriented, self-motivated, even-tempered, approachable and flexible
    • Strong organizational skills
    • Computer proficient in Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Able to handle multiple files, jobs and projects at once
    • Must be willing to work weekends and during events/concerts
    • Must be 21 years of age or older
