Job Description

The main function of the Front Services Manager is to maintain the highest level of services offered to guests through leadership of the functional areas of Bell, Door, Limousine & Valet Parking services.

Job Focus

Focus is on, but not limited to the following:

  • Oversee Guest Services operations with direct accountability for leadership of Guest Services Operations
  • Supporting company and hotel policies and procedures including the promoting and participation in Employee Engagement, Health and Safety, and Guest Service initiatives
  • Process Payroll and ensure employee timecards are correct in Kronos
  • Process group porterage in Opera
  • Arrange group inbound/outbound luggage services and amenity deliveries
  • Process weekly limousine allocations
  • Assist with monthly P&L review
  • Assist with monthly expense reporting
  • Conduct coaching/counseling meetings with team members, as needed
  • Oversee vehicle maintenance program
  • Ensure all hotel and department training is up to date
  • Process departmental supply orders
  • Maintain weekly departmental schedules
  • Manage employee PTO/EDO requests
  • Review and screen departmental job applications and conduct initial interviews
  • Attend weekly group resume meetings
  • Assist with creation and management of departmental service initiatives
  • Any additional tasks as assigned by Director of Hotel Operations
  • Ability to develop departmental SOP
  • Ability to conduct employee performance reviews
  • Responsible for guiding and developing Front Service Assistant Managers

Desired Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of Front Services operations
  • Has two (2) years of hospitality industry experience required, educational experience considered
  • Two years of supervisory experience required
  • Must be at least 21 years of age or older
  • The ability to maintain a "sense of urgency" attitude for the completion of responsibilities/tasks
  • Superior organizational and follow up skills with extreme attention to detail
  • Has an exceptional personality, attitude and excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be polished, professional, friendly, and have the ability to multitask and take initiative in a fast-paced, high pressure, deadline driven environment
  • Strong email, PC and Internet skills - including MS Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
  • Dedication and willingness to go above and beyond in a hospitality driven environment
  • Strong guest service, interpersonal, organizational, analytical, problem-solving and leadership skills
  • A valid Nevada Driver’s License is required and must be obtained before entering this position
  • A valid Alcohol Awareness Card is required and must be obtained before entering this position
